Second Forum of ARPUE

the Second Forum of Association of Rectors of Pedagogical Universities
in Europe was held in Frankfurt am Main (Germany).
The Forum was attended by 25 rectors of universities from 11 European countries, as well as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to Federal Republic of Germany Mr. Pavlo Klimkin, Consul General of Ukraine in Frankfurt am Main Mr. Albert Cherniuk, General Secretary of the German-Ukrainian Society of Economics and Science Peter Spary; Chairman of the German-Ukrainian Economy and Society Science Hans-Jürgen Doss, Chairman of the European Parliament's Special Committee on the Financial Crisis Wolf Klinz, President of Mérite Européen Germany Christoph Konrad, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Federal Republic of Germany to Ukraine (until 2006) Dietmar Studemann.
Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov, Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine Dmytro Tabachnyk, Head of Kyiv City State Administration Oleksandr Popov sent greeting letters to the Forum participants.
Doris Pack, Chairman of the Committee on Culture and Education of the European Parliament addressed a keynote speech.
The main speakers at the Forum were:
Prof. Viktor Andrushchenko - Rector of National Pedagogical Dragomanov University, President of the Association of Rectors of Pedagogical Universities in Europe: «On the formation of a spiritual platform for training a New teacher for the united Europe of the XXI century – Pedagogical Constitution of Europe».
Dr. Udo Rauin, Executive Director of the Education Research and Teacher Education at the Goethe University «Pedagogical education: active policy of peace for the united Europe» (Germany).
Prof. Vasyl Kremen, President of the NAPS of Ukraine: «Anthropocentrism, democracy and tolerance as principles of training a New teacher for the European educational space».
Forum participants endorsed and officially signed the text of Pedagogical Constitution of Europe.
Pedagogical Constitution of Europe defines principles and methodology of philosophy and policy of the process of training a new teacher for the united Europe of XXI century.
